Eligibility to Apply for Visa

Basic Eligibility

Any Bangladeshi Nationals are Eligible to Apply for Indian Medical Visa (having a valid MRP / E-Passport with at least 6 months validity) subject to provide some required Documents.

Documents Requirements

India Visa Application Form

The applicant must complete and sign the online visa application form.

Passport

a) Original Passport with validity of minimum six months after the intended date of departure and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp.
b) Copy of previous passports and visas issued.
c) Attach all your old passports (if any).

Proof of Occupation

a) Company registration certificate (Trade License copy-must be updated)
b) Office ID card copy
c) Visiting card

Proof of Resident

Utility bills, such as those for electricity, telephone, gas, or water, that are no older than six months. If the applicant resides in a flat, they may also give a copy of the building’s main bill or a sub bill.

Forwarding-Letter

a) Forwarding Letter / NOC from the applicant’s company authority on the company’s letterhead stating the applicant’s name, designation, passport number, purpose, and duration of the visit.
b) Visa request letter from the educational institute or student card/evidence of school enrollment (if student)

Photo Specification

Two recent passport size photographs white background and without border (Size: 2”x 2”)
Please Note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old, scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas.

Sponsors Financial Documents

International travel card like SBI Travel card / updated bank statement (last 3 month / 6 months) / endorsement* of foreign currency equivalent to US$150/- per applicant ( Endorsement* should not be older than 1 (one) month at the time of submission), International credit card with running year endorsement in the passport.

Please Note : Company’s or Personal Bank Statement for the last six months mentioning the Bank’s name, Bank’s Telephone Number clearly.

Additional Documents for Medical Visa

a. Medical Invitation letter from India with specific date
b. All Medical original documents
c. Applicants must have to submit his/her Local medical reports and doctor’s prescription.
d. A doctor’s appointment from India is required, and this appointment must be submitted with appropriate supporting documentation
e. Passengers accompanying the patient may apply for an attendant visa, no additional document is required for the attendant.
f. Applicants’ NID is required also.

Processing Time

In general the processing time range is 15 to 20 working days, but it can be more delayed if an unusual situation arises.
