Eligibility to Apply for Visa

Basic Eligibility

Any Bangladeshi Nationals are Eligible to Apply for Canada student VISA (having a valid MRP / E-Passport with at least 6 months validity) subject to provide some required Documents.
Note: Under 17/18 years old students may apply for Schooling Visa.

Documents Requirements

All Forms related to the application

All the forms related to the visa application must be filled and signed by the applicant.

Passport

A. Original Passport with validity of minimum of six months after the intended date of departure and minimum of two blank pages for visa stamp.
B. Copy of previous passports and visas issued.
C. All your old passports (if any).
D. If any visa request was refused, details of the original letter issued by the authorities of that country.

Offer Letter / Acceptance

Offer Letter / Acceptance Letter is issued by University/College.

Academic Documents

All academic certificates and Transcripts are required of SSC,HSC, ‘O’ Level, ‘A’ Level, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, IELTS etc.

NID and Birth Certificate

NID Card Copy and Birth Certificate Copy is required

Family Members Documents

Applicants have to submit the following Documents of his/her family also;
a. Valid Passport with Travel history.
b. Occupation with proof.
c. NID, Birth certificate, Photo etc.

Sponsors Marriage Certificate (Notarized & English translated)

In terms of both parents sponsorships, Marriage certificate will be needed.

Sponsors Financial Documents

a. Personal bank Statement for Last Six Months and Bank Solvency Certificate.
b. Dalil and Khatiyan of fixed assets (if applicant wants to show)
c. TIN certificate
d. Financial affidavit and Sponsorship declaration, Asset Valuation.
e. Income Tax Certificate, Tax Return (Last 02 Years)
Income Tax Certificate of Company (In Case of Business Person).

Sponsors Proof of Occupation

a. Office ID card / Visiting Card
b. BMDC certificate or letter from hospital if the applicant is a Doctor,
c. A Bar Council Certificate or letter from a law firm if the applicant is a lawyer
d. Salary accounts Bank Statement (preferably) / Pay Slip / Salary Certificate are required for service holders.
e. Trade license (original notarized English translation and photocopy of the original trade license required) for proprietorship business, Memorandum of Article for limited company if the applicant’s name is not mentioned in the trade license.

Photo Specification

Recently taken two passport-size photographs (35mm X 45mm) with a white background are required. Photographs should be printed on matt-finished paper.

Please note that photographs will also be taken at the Canadian Visa Application Center as a part of the Biometric requirement.

Important Note

English translation will be needed for bangla documents
and all documents need to be notarised.

Police Clearance

An original copy of the Police Clearance Certificate is required.

Medical Test

Applicants are required to complete their medical test from the IRCC enlisted panel physicians. An appointment from a medical test center is also required. This medical test can be done before/after the instruction from IRCC.

Visa Fees & Service Charges

Visa fee CAD $150 or BDT 12,600 approximately
Biometric Fee CAD $85 or BDT 7,140 approximately
Medical Test BDT 6,000 to 7,000 approximately
Service Charge BDT 20,000 (Only Visa Support)
Note: University Application fees and Documents Legalization required if needed

Processing Time

Generally, the processing time takes about 3 to 4 months, although it might take longer depending on the Canadian Embassy. Applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to get their visa on time.
